Mònica Vilert (Mataró, 1966) holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona.
Her work explores the boundaries between painting, relief, and sculpture through materials such as plaster, wax, canvas, paper, and cement. Using essential shapes, structures of nature, and a progressive chromatic reduction, she develops research centered on matter, space, light, and memory. Her work establishes a dialogue between the pictorial gesture, the construction of the object, and the perception of space.
